6-day desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech
The 6-day desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakech is one of the most comprehensive itineraries to discover Morocco. It includes visits to imperial cities such as Casablanca, Marrakech, and Fes. During this circuit, you will enjoy an unforgettable experience with a camel excursion and a night in the Sahara Desert, in Merzouga. In addition, we will travel through spectacular landscapes such as the Ziz Valley, the Todra Gorges, the Valley of the Roses, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and the Tizi N’Tichka pass.
Tour Plan
Our English-speaking driver will meet you at Casablanca airport and the journey to Fes will begin. If you arrive in the morning, you will visit the main attractions of Casablanca, including the Hassan II Mosque.
Afterwards, we will drive along the Corniche—a coastal area featuring beaches, cafes, hotels, and restaurants—before continuing on to Fes.
In the evening, you will have time to discover the famous Bab Boujloud gate, admire the traditional architecture, and stroll through the medina. Overnight stay in a riad.
Departure at 8:00 AM towards the Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop in Ifrane, known as the "Moroccan Switzerland," and pass through the cedar forest, where you can see wild monkeys.
At midday, arrival in Midelt, famous for its apples, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Continuing through the Middle Atlas and the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and impressive landscapes. Arrival in Erfoud, famous for its fossils and its annual date festival.
In the afternoon, arrival in Merzouga. A camel ride of approximately one hour through the dunes at sunset. Dinner, traditional music, and an overnight stay in a luxury desert tent with a private bathroom.
Early in the morning, you will enjoy the sunrise in the desert. Breakfast at the camp and free time to relax.
Camel excursion to a hidden oasis and lunch on-site.
In the afternoon, a walk through the dunes and a visit to a nomadic family, where you will share tea and learn about their lifestyle. Dinner and overnight stay in traditional accommodation under the stars.
Sunrise in the desert and return by camel to Merzouga.
Departure towards the Dades Valley passing through Rissani, where you will visit its traditional market.
Continuing towards the Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive landscapes in Morocco, ideal for walking and hiking.
After lunch, travel towards the Dades Valley, with panoramic stops, including the famous rock formations known as "monkey toes." Overnight stay in a hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the Valley of the Roses, famous for its landscapes and kasbahs.
Visit to the Skoura oasis and its impressive palm grove.
Continuing towards Ouarzazate and visiting the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the setting for numerous films.
In the afternoon, travel to Marrakech crossing the Tizi N'Tichka pass, with stops to enjoy the scenery. Arrival and transfer to your accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel and free time according to your flight schedule. Transfer to Casablanca or Marrakech airport. End of our services.
