The accompanying guide will be waiting with a sign bearing your name to make the meeting easy. In all Moroccan airports, entering the airport enclosure is not permitted, so the guide will be at the exit gate of the enclosure where it is necessary and mandatory to wait for all arriving passengers.
The tour and our services will end at the MARRAKECH airport with enough advance time for clients to check-in and handle boarding arrangements for their return flight or ferry.

Day 1 :

ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

Airport pickup at the estimated time by our guide and transfer to the Riad, very well located in the heart of the Medina (the historic part of the city of Marrakesh) and 2 minutes from the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. Day in Marrakesh with a local guide. Let yourself be carried away by the charisma of the red city, one of the most important in Morocco. The city has the largest traditional market in the country and one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world (Jemaa el-Fna). Delight your senses by letting yourself be carried away by an unrepeatable amalgam of aromas, sounds, and sensations. The city also offers endless places to walk and enjoy: the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks through the medina or the Mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the route of the walls, and the magnificent architecture of the Bahia Palace.

Day 2 :

ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

Our certified local guide will come to your accommodation to begin a guided tour where we will discover the beauty held within Marrakesh, the city that gives the country its name. Its palaces and gardens will give us a glimpse of the splendor of the different dynasties that ruled the city and the rest of the country. In the afternoon, free time to visit the medina and its various artisanal areas, practice the "art" of bargaining, or enjoy a cup of tea on one of its rooftop terraces. There are several monuments to visit, among which the following stand out:

Saadian Tombs: Built in the 16th century by Ahmad al-Mansur, they house the mausoleums of about 60 members of the Saadian dynasty, originally from the Draa River valley in the south of the country. Curiously, these tombs were not discovered until 1917, and today they are one of the most visited monuments in Marrakesh.
Ben Youssef Madrasa: This 12th-century Islamic school in Marrakesh was commissioned by the Almoravid sultan Ali ibn Yusuf. Today it is a museum open to visitors. Its interiors are marvelous, fully decorated, and its architecture is incredible.
Koutoubia Mosque: Without a doubt, the most famous and photographed monument in Marrakesh. Built in the 12th century, it served as a model for the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat.
Bahia Palace: A magnificent and extravagant 19th-century palace built to be the finest in Marrakesh. It features a huge garden, a central courtyard, and several rooms incredibly decorated by artisans brought expressly from the city of Fez.

Day 3 :

MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – VALLEY OF THE ROSES – DADES VALLEY

Pickup at 8:00 a.m. from the hotel or riad where you are staying in Marrakesh to head towards the High Atlas Mountains, a sub-mountain range of the Moroccan Atlas, crossing the Tizi N'Tichka pass, the highest road point in Morocco. Afterward, we will set off south to reach the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou (Ksar), declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Numerous famous films have been shot in this spectacular setting, such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, The Jewel of the Nile, etc. We will have lunch in the village and continue towards Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert" and whose Berber name means "without noise or confusion." Its Kasbah or citadel of Taourirt is well worth mentioning. We will continue toward the Valley of the Roses, passing through the large palm grove of Skoura, where we can admire its more than 700,000 palm trees and the high concentration of kasbahs scattered throughout the oasis and its surroundings. Later, we will arrive at the Valley of the Roses, a beautiful place where the prized Damask rose is cultivated to produce cosmetic products such as the famous rose water. The Festival of the Roses is celebrated once a year (in the month of May) in this valley. Finally, we will arrive at the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Day 4 :

DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA DUNES – NIGHT IN HAIMAS

After breakfast, we will enjoy some of the best panoramic views of the Dades Valley from a strategic point in the mountains, where you can admire the large number of kasbahs and the picturesque landscape. After several stops along the way, we will reach the Todra Gorges, located near the town of Tineghir. Surrounded by a valley full of palm trees and adobe villages, they boast vertical rock walls highly appreciated by climbing enthusiasts. These faults of the Todra and Dades are the best known and most impressive in Morocco.

After a walk through the gorges and lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug, we will head towards the desert to reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga. There, we will embark on a camel caravan trek (approximately one hour) to venture into a sea of dunes (Erg Chebbi) and witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Dinner and overnight stay in nomadic tents (haimas), right in the heart of the desert and under a spectacular blanket of stars.

Day 5 :

MERZOUGA – RISSANI – VALLE DEL DRAA – AGDEZ – ALNIF – OUARZAZATE

Date with the sunrise: while in the desert, it is highly recommended to wake up early to climb the highest dune surrounding the nomadic tents (haimas) and watch the sunrise. Today will be a day of pure desert. Return by camel to the village of Merzouga and begin our return journey. First, we will make a stop in Rissani, the central city of the region and the last major town before the border with Algeria. It is surrounded by vast oases where traditional agriculture is still practiced using an underground irrigation system called foggaras. Its inhabitants live in traditional fortified villages called ksours. Rissani also features a lively traditional market (on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) where you can witness local commercial exchanges (especially of animals) and buy turbans, Berber jewelry, typical pottery, colorful carpets, or leather crafts. We will continue the route towards Ouarzazate, passing through the towns of Alnif, the Tazarine oasis, Nkob, and the Draa Valley, a landscape full of contrasts, palm groves, and vibrant colors. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

Day 5 :

OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH – AIRPORT

Ouarzazate is world-famous as the "Moroccan Hollywood" thanks to its film studios where numerous international productions have been filmed. Afterward, we will cross the Atlas Mountains once again via the Tizi N'Tichka pass (2,260 m) to arrive in Marrakesh, the red city. Free time until the agreed time and transfer to the airport to check in your luggage and accompany you to the boarding gate. End of our services and of the trip.
