This Holy Week itinerary through Morocco begins in Marrakesh, setting off toward the south by crossing the impressive High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, panoramic stops allow you to take in the mountain landscapes, alongside a visit to an argan oil cooperative to discover its traditional production process.
The journey continues toward the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the country’s most fascinating architectural complexes. Afterward, you will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the great gateway to the desert and the backdrop for numerous film productions.
The route proceeds through the Valley of the Roses and the spectacular Dadès Valley, where staying in local hotels lets you enjoy traditional architecture, mountain landscapes, and the richness of Berber culture. This first leg of the tour is a true immersion into the most authentic and off-the-beaten-path parts of Morocco.
Over the following days, the experience turns more adventurous. The itinerary includes a visit to the Todra Gorges—an impressive canyon with vertical rock walls—before venturing deeper into the desert toward Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, you will experience unforgettable moments such as a sunset camel ride and a night in a desert camp under a starry sky.
